Skyloft Mercenary

A birthday gift for ~cocolin who has been an awesome friend for many years! _{her birthday is December 12th, but since Japan is from the future, she is 12 hours ahead...this way, I hope she can get it on her birthday rather than being late but no where near as late as I was last year being a month late}

I asked what she would like, and she said to draw anything.
because Skyward Sword is currently owning my life, I was unable to think of anything better

I picked to draw Rio again, because this OC is the first I known from her

obviously, if you didn't pick it up, I made her into a Skyloft like character from Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. I remember reading that Rio was a mercenary once, so maybe she graduated from the knights academy, but then decided to do something different with her life?
<sub>I just didn't want to be lazy and put her in a blue tunic or another kind of knight uniform.

....anyone else notice my backgrounds are getting worse? I have not drawn a good one in awhile D:></sub>
