Day31: Chariot Master

I was asked a few times, to draw my favorite chapter, to draw my favorite scene, and draw my favorite character
So for the final day I took a chance and did something I was kind of afraid to do: Draw my favorite KI:Uprising character.

I've never been successful at drawing him, and I always felt terrible like I was unworthy an artist to draw him because he is so great and I want to do him justice.
This still isn't that great, but at least it is a start

This guy is my favorite character in that game hands down.
I felt his story was very bitter sweet. How he lived and fought for his master, and continued to exist in hopes of one day passing the torch of protecting the world to another. Another warrior with the will and desire to protect and would use the lightning chariot for that cause.

I know like 99% of the fanbase want to see Pit grow up, fly, and become some kind of god(usually taking Palutena's position) but it never felt right to me. I like to think that Pit will become the next Chariot Master one day. Time forgetting his name and his deeds and only knowing him as the Lighting Chariot's keeper, one who continues to live by the sheer force of his will, waiting for the next warrior to entrust the safety of the world to before he can finally pass on and rest.
To be honest, I was going to use that concept in one of the inktober drawings, seeing I already have a design and everything. This has been an idea of mine for like 5 years now. I didn't though, because others got upset with this idea. Many years ago, I posted a finished drawing of this idea, and reception was not good. People got upset.
Saying it was a sad end for Pit
One even contacting me asking why I hated Pit so much to do this to him.
I don't think it's sad at all really. He lived a good and long life doing what he loved: protecting and keeping peace, but time will decay any legacy, and thus he waits for the one to carry on his duty.
Of course this is just how I feel, and if you feel differently, that is fine ^^

I'd like to revisit that idea really, maybe for a short series or something.
